Méridien

About

What Méridien is,
and what it is not.

I

Why

I spent years building rigorous astrological tools, testing ancient techniques against my own life. Méridien comes from that intuition: in the French-language landscape, there was no service that was neither fortune-telling, nor automated horoscope, nor entertainment. A tool for reflection that dares to say when an interpretation doesn't hold up. A quiet practice, not a shop.

II

Posture — companion, not therapist

I don't use the word "therapist": it is legally protected in France, and it describes something else. Méridien is a companion through cycles — someone walking alongside, sharing the bread of reflection, not leading the way. Several techniques are cross-checked (birth chart, solar return, transits, progressions, personal lunations…) with several astrological traditions, then each reading is tested against your real life. If it doesn't hold up, I say so.

III

Ethical safeguard

Méridien embeds a distress detector. If the conversation moves toward serious matters — suicidal ideation, acute grief, psychotic crisis — the service interrupts the astrological reading and directs to real professionals: 3114 in France, Samaritans (116 123) in the UK and Ireland, 988 in the US and Canada, Lifeline (13 11 14) in Australia, and equivalents elsewhere. No credits are consumed for these exchanges. It is non-negotiable, it is in the code.

Who I am

Eric Merle, researcher of truth and accuracy in mathematics, companion through cycles. Author of examined-astrology tools — ASTRO-CYCLE, MathAtlas — built over several years. Méridien supports a long-term scientific research practice, just like my site collatz-lab.org dedicated to the Collatz conjecture. Service edited by CYCLOPE — 26 rue Bosquet, 75007 Paris — Paris Trade Register 940 810 096. You can reach me directly at bonjour@monmeridien.app — I read every message.
